In 2018, we were commissioned to investigate improvements to wayfinding and the renewal of the exhibition about Hinduism.

Popularly known as the 'Neasden Temple’, the Mandir is a traditional place of Hindu worship designed and constructed entirely according to ancient Vedic architectural texts – using no structural steel whatsoever. In 2020 we were asked to do a feasibility study looking at ways to improve the way the temple communicates to visitors.

Improving the visitor journey

This involved looking at the routes visitors take, the location of facilities such as security checks and the shop, as well as wayfinding signage and information panels. In additions, we were asked for suggestions about ways to update the exhibition area.
