Scheme for Buxton Museum

In 2014 we were asked to provide a feasibility report on the redevelopment of the ‘Wonders of the Peak’ exhibition at Buxton Museum in Derbyshire. The work involved strategies for the use of the spaces and possible visitor routes, together with suggestions about ways to group objects to illustrate a chronological narrative. The massing of many small objects together was advocated both in order to fit the dense object content desired into a small space and to provide visual impact.
